Orbital's Founder

Before founding Orbital, Geoffrey E. Cherry held several executive level positions across various industries from manufacturing to health & human services, ultimately landing a leadership position within distressed charter management organization.
Recognizing common root causes amongst distressed organizations, Mr. Cherry subsequently founded Orbital, a group specializing in the optimization and turnaround of underperforming organizations.
Prior to his business management experience, Mr. Cherry spent a number of years in the Aerospace industry as an aircraft designer and flight test engineer. During his time as an engineer, Mr. Cherry was awarded several patents for his designs of new products.
An Illinois native, Mr. Cherry holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Illinois and a MBA (Finance) from Washington University in St. Louis.
