After pulling its charter, the authorizer decided not to shutter the school immediately to try to minimize disruptions for students, who begin ISTEP testing next week. As such, Orbital, recommended by the authorizer, was selected by the school's board to facilitate operations over the final semester after the CMO's contract was rescinded.
Orbital will assure that the finances and operations are adequately maintained through year end without any disruption to the school's stated mission. Orbital will then liquidate the school's assets and assure vendors receive the maximum payout and that all financial matters are tied out.
